The Angelina County Airport will once again be the site for one of the biggest airshows in all of East Texas.  AirFest 2016 is coming October 8th.

Last year's inaugural AirFest was a huge success.  Thousands of East Texans turned out to see the sights and experience the sounds, and this year's organizers are promising a bigger and better event.

Numerous vintage and rare aircraft will be buzzing the skies and performing heart-stopping maneuvers throughout the AirFest. Many World War II era planes will be featured, plus the Mig Russian aircraft will be back.  Some of the featured pilots will include the famed Skip Stewart and Matt Younkin, as well as Adam Baker, Jeremy Holt, Kate Kyer, and Paul Fiala. We are also proud to welcome back renowned announcer, Ralph Royce!

Everyone is encouraged to get up close, meet the pilots and take pictures. Plus, there are opportunities to purchase rides on some of these planes and helicopters.
