With Pokemon Go in full effect 20 years after the release of the original Pokemon video game, YouTube sensation Anthony Vincent is turning back the clock in his latest video. Performing the theme song from the animated Pokemon series, he's adapted the song to fit the musical stylings of late '90s artists including Blink-182, Nine Inch Nails and more.

The video starts off a little cringeworthy for rock and metal fans in particular as Vincent sings in the style of Aqua (the band responsible for "Barbie Girl"), but it gets a lot better real fast as he tackles the Smashing Pumpkins. After delivering a spot-on Billy Corgan impersonation, he moves forward with some more aggressive moments, imitating Nine Inch Nails and Coal Chamber.

Regardless if you're a Cher, Chumbawamba or Destiny's Child fan or not, it's impossible to stop a wave of memories flooding back if you ever turned on the radio in the back half of the '90s. If these artists aren't your thing, you can take solace when Vincent's spin on Blink-182, Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson and the Offspring all come into play.

As always, Vincent delivered another knockout performance, demonstrating his deep understanding of each act's sound, which is truly what makes this video, and others, so captivating. Whether he's singing the Gorillaz like the Foo Fighters and Motley Crue, Adele as Alice in Chains and Guns N' Roses or Taylor Swift filtered through the lens of Disturbed, he's never anything short of remarkable.
