Last night's American Idol episode featured hot songs from the 80s, including Foreigner's 'I Want To Know What Love it', 'That's All' by Genesis and Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty's duet 'Stop Dragging My Heart Around'. Hard to believe some of the young competitors had such strong performances, considering most of them weren't even born in that decade.

After pleading his case to the RCMP officer driving the vehicle, and slurring his words a little, he decides that belting out his emotions through the music of Queen is the best thing to do in his situation.

YouTube Garrison High School Football Playoff Game To Air On KICKS 105 This Saturday
The Garrison High School Football team has once again made it to the playoffs!
Though we normally carry the game on Q107, our sister station KICKS 105 will be airing it this Saturday, due to a schedule conflict with the SFA Football game.
You can listen to it live on the radio at 105.1 FM, via the KICKS 105 streaming player or on the KICKS 105 radioPup app on your iPhone or Android device starting at 1:45 p.m. for the pre-game show. The game is scheduled to start at 2:00 p.m.

YouTube Hot Chicks Playing Soccer [VIDEO]
In case you haven't heard yet, the U.S. women's soccer team advanced to the World Cup final by beating France 3-1 Wednesday on a rain-soaked field in Moenchengladbach, Germany.
The national team got nationwide, even worldwide attention, after defeating Brazil in a shootout earlier in the tournament.
Many Americans have jumped on the women's soccer bandwagon after these last two wins, hoping that they beat Japan in the final match on Sunday, July 17 - but I have a feeling that the team would have had many fans earlier on this year if they played and looked like the video below:
Father and Son Take Photos at the First and Last Space Shuttle Launch [PHOTO]
It's the photo they waited 30 years to take (click to enlarge).
Chris Bray and his father attended the first space shuttle launch back in 1981 -- and the last, just a few weeks ago. Bray posted a link to the photo on Reddit on Monday and the reaction was immediate -- almost 600 comments have been left thus far, and various media outlets have picked up the story.
