On the very last full day of Axes & Anchors Cruise 2016, everyone woke up in bright and sunny Nassau, Bahamas. Those who didn’t get off the boat took part in more workshops and photo opportunities with Yngwie Malmsteen, Thousand Foot Krutch, Act of Defiance and other artists.

Alternative rock act Falling Through April hailing from North Carolina hit the Pool Deck Stage as fans returned to the ship from their Bahamas adventure. The band delivered a fun and melodic energy to kick off the day of performances.

The Caribbean Theater saw its share of notable bands as Adelitas Way, Demon Hunter and Act of Defiance delivered forceful performances.  Mike Orlando and his Sonic Stomp crew ripped through their set over in the Adriatic Lounge.

The showstoppers of the day were Breaking Benjamin who played to a packed deck outside on the Pool Stage. Fans sang along to anthems like “So Cold,” “Breath,” “Until the End” and “Blow Me Away.” A special treat for fans came when it was time for the band to crank out their well-known track “Polyamorous” as Chris "Motionless" Cerulli from Motionless in White (who also happens to be a massive Breaking Benjamin fan) provided vocals for the track.

There are a lot of music cruises out there, but the one-on-one lessons that musicians give to fans is a priceless experience. Axes & Anchors allows fans and musicians to connect on a much different level where their love of music can be appreciated and explored to the fullest. So get your guitars ready because we cannot wait to see what Axes & Anchors has in store for next year!
