Budweiser To Change The Shape of Beer Cans
Oh no! Someone is messing with your beer!
Anheuser Busch has announced they'll change the shape of Budweiser beer cans starting May 6th, and they'll start selling the new bowtie-shaped cans in 8-packs.
Imagine if you will, that the can will be in the form of that red Budweiser logo seen here. It's a bowtie, but it kinda looks like a woman's waist too, huh?
Don't worry, they'll still sell the regular cans in 6-packs, for beer lovers that fear change. The new bowtie-shaped cans will contain 11.3 ounces of beer, and the current cans will keep the current 12 ounces.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported Tuesday that the St. Louis-based company is looking to attract new customers, while keeping the die hards happy.
Something new for your spring and summer barbecues! After a couple, the shape of the can won't really matter anymore.
