Are you aware that Carlos Santana played -- WOODSTOCK?  Before the tender age of eight, he was already playing violin and guitar.  Growing up he followed the "biggies" - John Lee Hooker, B.B. King, Jimi Hendrix, and Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac.

He's got 10 Grammy Awards to his name, and because he's still actively recording and touring, his legacy might have to wait.  But that's okay with most.  His latest milestone to his achievements was the launching (May 15) of "Shape Shifter", which is album number 42 or 43 or 44 or 45 (lost count) in the collection.  Keep it rockin' Carlos!

Listen below to one of his lost classic rock beauties.  The song is called 'Open Invitation', and Carlos is screaming at around 2:20 of the video!
