Carlos Santana to Perform on New Year’s Rockin’ Eve Special [VIDEO]

Carlos Santana has performed for massive crowds during his 40-plus-year career, but the guitar legend likely will be entertaining one of his largest audiences ever when he appears on the 2012 installment of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest.

Santana will join forces with, of all people, Justin Bieber for a special collaboration that will air live from New York City's Times Square on December 31.

A wide variety of other stars also are on the show's lineup, including Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Blink-182, Florence + The Machine, Nicki Minaj and Will.i.am.  New Year's Rockin' Eve airs on ABC starting at 7 p.m.
