Butler Vs. UConn Tonight: Who Will Take The Title?

Virginia Commonwealth University’s storybook run from play-in game to Final Four ended Saturday night, as Butler will be crashing the NCAA’s title game for the second year in a row.

Shelvin Mack paced the Bulldogs with 24 points on five for six three-point shooting, and Butler downed VCU 70-62 in a hard fought battle that was closer than its final score.

In Saturday’s second match up, University of Connecticut held off Kentucky 56-55 after UK had come storming back from a ten point halftime deficit.  An almost six minute scoreless stretch late in the second half ultimately doomed the Wildcats' bid to reach the finals.

375 Lbs. Shark Jumps Into Texas Fisherman’s Boat [VIDEO]

Some may say that Texas fisherman Jason Kresse caught a shark, but when the 375-lb. sea creature jumped into his boat early last Monday, it kind of caught him instead.

The 29-year-old Freeport resident was out fishing for a red snapper with two coworkers about 50 miles off the Gulf of Mexico coast when they felt something hit the side of the boat. A few seconds later, the mammoth Mako was thrashing around inside the boat, much to Kresse and his posse's surprise.

Our Favorite MLB Walk-Up Songs [VIDEO]

With the season opener just two days away, I found an article highlighting the Top 20 walk-up songs that get baseball players pumped.

Honestly, some of the songs are downright terrible. A couple of the players chose songs from pop stars Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus (really?!), but after reading their reasoning, the song choices make sense. Still, I would cringe if I had to hear those songs before a big game.

Here are three of our favorite MLB walk-up songs from that list:

New San Francisco Giants’ Reality Series [VIDEO]

The Giants aren't my favorite team, but I think their new reality series, 'The Franchise', which follows them during this year's spring training, will do well considering how many interesting characters they have on the team.

NCAA Basketball Tournament Round-Up – Cinderellas In the Final Four

Can you believe the upsets this year? And who the Final Four teams are? I chose Kansas to go all the way, only to find out that they got beat by Virginia Commonwealth University on Sunday!

Police Conduct Criminal Investigation On Chara’s Brutal Hit [VIDEO]

Even if you're not a big hockey fan, the video is painful to watch.

On Tuesday night's game, Montreal Canadiens' player Max Pacioretty was escorted off the ice on a stretcher and sent to the hospital with a severe concussion and broken vertebrae due to the Boston Bruins captain Zdeno Chara's dirty check with 20 seconds left in the second period.

The National Hockey League announced on Wednesday that Chara, who received a five minute major penalty and a game misconduct for his hit that night, wouldn't get penalized further, which has caused quite an uproar from sponsors, fans and other NHL teams.
