We were a bit bummed to learn that 'Boardwalk Empire' showrunner Terence Winter had accepted a season 5 end to the HBO prohibition drama in order to develop his new 1970s New York rock drama with Bobby Cannavale, Mick Jagger and Martin Scorsese, but the proposed series just got a whole lot prettier. No, they didn't play a 45-minute version of Led Zeppelin's 'Dazed and Confused.' In fact, the Red Hot Chili Peppers did exactly what you probably expected them to do as the special guests of the Super Bowl halftime show -- play 'Give it Away' while bouncing around like teenage lunatics.

They did it!  When Ringo performed by himself earlier in the Grammy telecast last night, I thought the rumors of a reunion with Paul McCartney might turn out to be false. But later in the show, when Sir Paul performed his new song, Ringo was on the drums, and all was right with the world.  And they sounded great!
