Tobacco users pay attention.  The Lufkin City Council is meeting tonight, and "smoking" is at the top of their agenda.

The initial ordinance signed into law almost twenty years ago (1994) is seeking an updated version.  In times past, lighting up was allowed in designated areas of dining establishments, pubs, and in the work place with adequate ventilation.  The proposed new decree will outlaw smoking in just about all public domain.

Got a beef?  Take your viewpoints to Lufkin City Hall today at 5 p.m.
