Lest you forget, we’re just a month away from the release of Deadpool, with Ryan Reynolds and director Tim Miller promising an R-rated, gleefully violent, totally profane and very faithful film featuring a proper version of the Merc With a Mouth. And while the latest TV spot reiterates all of those fine points, a new set of satirical posters reveal that Deadpool is also something you probably never considered: the greatest love story of our time.

Following last week’s TV spot, 20h Century Fox has delivered an enhanced version that features an extra scene in which Reynolds’ foul-mouthed anti-hero delivers a badass roundhouse kick. And that’s not all for new Deadpool goodies today, as the official Twitter account has unveiled a few posters to exploit the film’s Valentine’s Day weekend release date:

Awkward caption aside on that last tweet, the “Fifty Shades of Slay” thing is pretty great. And these posters almost look like they’re for legit romantic dramedies. Is Deadpool secretly based on a Nicholas Sparks novel? We can dream.

The film also stars Gina Carano as Angel Dust, T.J. Miller as Weasel, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle / Copycat, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Ed Skrein as Ajax. Deadpool hits theaters on February 12, and should make for a nice alternative to the more seriously romantic offerings that weekend, which include…um…How to Be Single and Zoolander 2.
