East Texas Poll – Who’s Your Favorite Classic Rock Band?

I think the title pretty much sums it up. I want to know who your favorite band from the classic rock genre is.

Personally, I don't have a favorite. I mean, one of my favorites is Def Leppard. Whether it's "Pour Some Sugar On Me", "Hysteria", or "Photograph", all of their music has a really appealing sound to me.

But they aren't the only ones. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention The Eagles in my favorites list. There are so many of their songs that are great to me, actually too many to name. "Hotel California" and "Take It Easy" are two of my favorites that come to mind when considering The Eagles.

Another of my favorites has to be Guns N' Roses. I've always been a fan of "Welcome to the Jungle." But I can't go without mentioning "Paradise City". Yes, you can say that I'm a pretty big Slash fan.

And, of course, there are a lot of bands that have awesome individual songs that I like. Some of them have awesome lyrical components, others have awesome instrumental components, and some of them have both.

The classic rock genre is one of those music formats that keeps expanding, just like so many of the others. As it grows, the talent changes, as does the sound. So tell me: who's your favorite?
