Guess what song played early in the morning for Space Shuttle astronauts this week?
Of course....Rocket Man.
NASA offers the video for all to see.

Atlantis commander Chris Ferguson responded to Elton's message by saying, "Elton John, music legend, wow, that is absolutely fantastic!  We are absolutely honored that you took the time to join the crew this morning and wake us up...it's great to be here.  It's great to be in space."

NASA says "Rocket Man" has been used as the wake-up music for astronauts four times in the shuttle program's 30-year history.  This is the final space shuttle mission.  It launched July 8.
