Christians celebrate Easter on Sunday, and some choose to eat fish today (Good Friday) instead of beef, pork, or chicken.

Paul McCartney is urging people to skip meat all together today, and is part of an online campaign launched by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) where he's seen wearing the organization's new "Eat No Fish" T-shirt.

Sir Paul is an animal rights activist and vegan, and PETA ads have sir Paul saying, "make it a Good Friday for animals -- try vegetarian."

If you're interested, you can find more about the campaign at PETA.org.

This isn't the first time Sir Paul has linked up with PETA.  He's also worn the "Eat No Cow" and "Eat No Turkey" shirts.

No meat?  I guess there's always Peeps!  Have a great weekend.
