Free ‘Dump Trash’ Day Slated For Saturday, October 29

How about a FREE morning at the landfill this Saturday, October 27?

Residing in Angelina County is the only requirement that I'm aware of that gets you inside the landfill, so you better bring identification, in case the Angelina County Waste Management Center is patrolling the area.

For four hours, between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m., Angelina County residents may dump their household garbage at the landfill FREE of charge.

Now, not all "garbage" is landfill material, so remember not to bring batteries, electronic components, whole tires ("half" tires okay?), paint, or materials labelled as hazardous.
