Hudson One Win Away from State Championship

There are only two teams left in Class 3A Softball, and Hudson is one of them.

After a 5 to 2 semi-final win over West High School yesterday in Austin, the Hudson Lady Hornets play for the state championship tomorrow.

With a day off in Austin I'd have the urge to hit about five mexican restaurants for queso and burritos, but something tells me the Hudson team will avoid that. Rest up today and drink those protein shakes ladies!

The Lady Hornets can capture the 3A state title on Saturday morning. It will be a tough test of course - a state championship doesn't come easy. Hudson will have to get by the #1-ranked Henderson Lady Lions, who beat Liberty Hill, 3-0 in the other semifinal game yesterday.
