It’s official.  Hotel Fredonia in Nacogdoches has closed its doors, and all 90 employees are looking for new jobs.

There have been reports of cash flow problems over the years, and the decision was made to close the hotel permanently.  Hotel Fredonia officially closed this week.

KTRE reports the Nine Flags Bar may stay open for a time, but there’s been no final decision.

The hotel first opened in 1955, and reopened in 1988, and had many loyal supporters during that time.
