‘Jimi Hendrix’ Biopic Finally In Pre-Production [VIDEO]

A "Jimi Hendrix" biopic?  Really?  I mean, when?

Initially being call All By My Side, the project has been as dead as Hendrix for some time now because  'the estate' forbids original JIMI music or copywrite protected material, unless the legacy participants are involved with the film from adolescence to adulthood.

UPDATE:  there is renewed hope.  Rolling Stone is reporting that pre-production is underway in Ireland.  And who is slated to play the superstar guitarist?  That's Outkast's Andre 3000 in the red vest.
