Lufkin’s Dave Fenley Ousted in Semis From “America’s Got Talent” [VIDEO]

Lufkin alum Dave Fenley came so close, but as the cliche goes...no cigar.

He made East Texas feel mighty proud by going to the semi-finals of "America's Got Talent".  In the end though, the panel of judges that whisked him through the previous rounds of competition, had a difference of opinion, with three of the four decision makers voting against Fenley for a shot at the championship round.

Judging by some of the comments made on You Tube, the wrong talent was sent packing early.  Whispers have circulated that nerves may have got the best of Fenley, but if that's true, he kept it to himself:
