Like most people, you probably don't have tickets to Metallica's sold-out pre-Super Bowl concert in San Francisco. But never fear, there's still a way to watch: The band will be webcasting the show for free live from AT&T Park on Saturday.

"The concert has been sold out for months, but we don’t want anyone to be left out," Metallica announced on their website. "So spend Super Bowl eve with us, no matter where you are that night!"

The 1080p FullHD live stream will be available on mobile and desktop devices at webcast.livemetallica.com. Metallica are also promising updates on the stage and production at the ballpark, as well as rehearsal extras (which will be available on the same streaming site as well as the band's social media).

Cage the Elephant will open the performance, which is being called the Night Before concert. Last year's inaugural event, held in Phoenix, featured Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley and Florida Georgia Line. Metallica are set to take the stage at approximately 8:30 PM PT at AT&T Park. It's a venue they are intimately familiar with, having taken part in a series of Metallica Night events there in conjunction with baseball games by the hometown Giants.

The San Francisco show arrives amid renewed hopes for Metallica's first solo album since 2008's Death Magnetic. They followed up that LP with the much-maligned  with Lou Reed collaboration Lulu in 2011.
