Morrissey's Texas tour dates have been taken off the calendar while the singer's keyboard player recovers from an undisclosed illness.

As previously reported, keyboardist Gustavo Manzur collapsed prior to Morrissey's scheduled engagement in Boulder, Colo. on Nov. 14, prompting a last-minute cancellation and surrounding subsequent engagements on his current U.S. tour with uncertainty.

Now, Brooklyn Vegan reports, we know that at least three concerts won't happen as planned: stops previously scheduled for Nov. 16 in Dallas, Nov. 17 in San Antonio, and Nov. 18 in Houston have all been canceled, leaving Texas without a tour date and keeping the band off the road through Nov. 23, when they're currently set to pick up again in Royal Oak, Mich. before moving on to Cleveland on Nov. 25 and Chicago two days later.

This is a family, we stay together, and we can’t move until we know what’s happened to him,” Morrissey was quoted as saying at the Boulder show, and Manzur, who joined the band in 2009, reportedly has a tight creative and personal bond with the singer. "We are a family. We make music together," Manzur explained in a 2014 interview. "We get into trouble together, and we take care of each other as brothers."

Details of Manzur's condition remain unclear, but according to the official announcement quoted by Brooklyn Vegan, he's currently resting on doctor's orders. "Gustavo is recuperating today. Doctors have advised one week of rest," it reads. "Gustavo and the band are determined to make the shows at Detroit, Cleveland and Chicago."
