This Nacogdoches native uses the power of metal to amp up Christmas and shut down on heck of a heckler.

If you're a Nacogdoches native, or if you've spent much time in Nac at all, chances are, you know who Spence Peppard is. Spence is what you might refer to as a local music legend. Even though he's now based in Nashville, he'll always be thought of as a Nac-Native.

Well, this year, Spence wanted to get into the Christmas spirit, putting his very own rock twist to "Carol of the Bells". No, this is not "Christmas Eve/Sarajevo" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra. This is, like I said before, "Carol of the Bells" by Spence Peppard himself.

The only problem is, even as talented as Spence is, he's still being insulted by an elf! Here he is, being a one man band, putting together a compilation of Christmas greatness, and he's being heckled! Don't believe me? Check out the video below and see for yourself how it all went down.

If this didn't get you in the Christmas spirit, I don't know what will. You can check out more about Spence, and even purchase his "Carol of the Bells" single at SpencePeppard.com.
