New Details About The Upcoming Rush Album

The album doesn’t have a release date yet, but Geddy Lee says if we like the heavier Rush sound, we’re gonna love it.

In an interview with Cleveland’s The Plain Dealer, Lee said the band has about seven songs written for the new album.  They’ve played two of them live so far.  Lee describes those songs as having a heavier sound, but says there’s a lot of diversity on the record overall.  He says he thinks and hopes Rush fans will like it and they’re working hard to make it great.

Rush play their last North American show on April 22nd in Baltimore, Maryland before heading to Europe.  They’ll return on June 8th with a show in Greenville, South Carolina.  The only Texas show happens in El Paso June 14th.
