With Gwen Stefani now focused on her first solo album in a decade and Blake Shelton (not necessarily in that order), the remaining members of No Doubt are moving on with a new lead singer – but as a brand new supergroup.

Guitarist Tom Dumont, bassist Tony Kanal and drummer Adrian Young have teamed up with AFI frontman Davey Havok, according to Billboard. The new four-piece have already recorded an album together and they're in the process of shopping it to labels.

They've also hired Green Day manager Pat Magnarella to handle their affairs, which could indicate this isn't just a one-off collaboration. It's doubtful they'd use the No Doubt name, but there's no indication what the group will call themselves yet. In a recent interview with Billboard, Young hinted that Stefani’s role in No Doubt is unclear. “We’re in a little bit of limbo right now,” he said, “So we’ll see where that takes us.”

Meanwhile, Stefani is releasing This Is What the Truth Feels Like, on March 18.

It's all making that "Don't Speak" video seem all-too prescient.
