While Noel Gallagher reserves most of his best barbs for his brother, Liam, he'll gladly insult virtually any and all of his contemporaries. The former Oasis guitarist recently took on Bryan Adams, Wet Wet Wet, Simply Red and many more in the span of a single social media post.

As NME reports, Gallagher and his band, High Flying Birds, played the 6,500-seat Scarborough Open Air Theatre last week. Spotting a poster listing the other acts on their calendar -- which included the three acts mentioned above as well as James Bay, Status Quo and a "Legends of Pop 80s" show that featured Rick Astley, ABC and Go West -- he took a picture of it and posted it to his Instagram account.

The caption read, "I often thought that one day I would make it big and be spoke about in the same breath as and move in the same circles as and share the same stage as all the greats in the music business. Sadly this is not what I had in mind."

For all of Gallagher's bravado, we know there is one person -- other than a member of the Beatles -- who is capable of leaving him starstruck, screen legend Robert De Niro. This morning, Gallagher posted a picture of himself dining and chatting with the star of Raging Bull, Goodfellas and Dirty Grandpa. "So we've been down to The South Of France for a few days and at a 17 hour lunch at our friends house THIS..THIS.. Actually happened!!!" he wrote.

The man who, according to his brother, looks like a potato, begins a European tour tomorrow (Aug. 11) with High Flying Birds in Copenhagen, Denmark. He will close it out on Sept. 6 with a show at the O2 Academy in London.
