Paul McCartney is among the celebrity vegetarians featured on a new limited-edition series of U.S. postage stamps issued PETA. The sheet of 44-cent stamps shows 20 notable people throughout history who gave up eating meat, and Sir Paul is among the featured artists, scientists, and politicians.

Among the other vegetarian music artists besides McCartney depicted on the stamps are Bryan Adams, Joan Jett, and the Pretenders' Chrissie Hynde. Also featured are such wide-ranging luminaries as Leonardo da Vinci, Mohandas Gandhi, Leon Tolstoy, Pamela Anderson, Natalie Portman and Ellen DeGeneres.

So...if you're looking for a holiday gift for a stamp collector or a McCartney fan, you can get the set for 19.99 through PETACatalog.com. Visitors to PETA.org also can fill out an online form for the chance to win a free sheet.
