The documentary will even include interview footage from a late friend of the band.

It's a Cameron Crowe, feature-length documentary called Pearl Jam Twenty. It's set to debut on PBS stations around the country in October.

More than 1,200 hours of rare and previously unreleased footage was searched for the film, as well as current interviews with band members and concert performances.  They've even included interview footage from the archives, with friends Chris Cornell from Soundgarden, Mother Love Bone, Temple of the Dog, Kurt Cobain from Nirvana and Neil Young.

Crowe was accepted into Pearl Jam’s inner circle from the beginning and has been close friends with the guys since he wrote about them for Rolling Stone.

There's a companion book and soundtrack for the film coming in September, then Pearl Jam Twenty will air on PBS on October 21 at 8 pm CT.
