This past Sunday, (04/10/11), thirty-five years ago, Peter Frampton’s 'Frampton Comes Alive' hit number one on the Billboard 200 chart, and it's still number one for a lot of people!

The album originally came out on January 6th, 1976 and Peter told us that it amazes him that folks are still listening to it today.

“Never in a million years would I have thought that we’re working on three or four different generations now.  And people are still posting notes to me saying, ‘I just got turned on to this by my mother or father and I’m 12, and ‘I just heard Frampton Comes Alive for the first time yesterday and I love it.  So that’ll blow anybody away that that is still happening.”

Frampton is marking the record’s 35th anniversary with a tour where he’ll play all the songs on the album.  Get the dates for the trek now at Frampton.com.
