The Angelina County Fair is just around the corner, and BBQ Cookers are looking to show off their skills once again.

Entry fees are $150.00 and must be turned in before April 17th, which a $100 will go into the pot for the prize money. The more teams that participate, the more prize money you'll earn if you win.

If you're confident in your barbecuing skills, then there's nothing to worry about when it comes to coaxing your competitors into the competition.

I won't be able to be a part of this cook-off because it falls on the dates that I'll be helping with the Big Bass Splash. Maybe you're upset that you don't get to beat me, or maybe you're thankful I won't be there, but take it for what it is and make the most of it.

Apparently, a few cookers said it was too cold to cook last February, so the whole shebang has been moved to April 21st and 22nd. Conditions are just right, and it's time to let all of East Texas know what's up when it comes to great BBQ!
