It turns out, not everyone appreciates a guy in a Santa suit passing out candy to kids.  Six Flags over Texas told Santa he had to go!

Hopefully this was not the real Santa, and just a look-alike.

Jerry Henderson of Burleson told CBS11 in Dallas that he's been going to the theme park dressed as Santa for years, and this is the first time he's been asked to leave.

He had been passing out candy to kids and giving them hugs, and posing for a few pictures on social media, but that was all a violation of how they do things at Six Flags.

Six Flags released a statement apologizing that Mr. Henderson was inconvenienced, and said "the safety of our guests is always our highest priority. We cannot knowingly allow individuals who are not approved by the park to interact with small children in this capacity."

Six Flags also has a no-costume policy that this Santa violated.  He says he never approached the kids and it was only by the parents' requests that he gave out candy.  And he's not losing the beard just to be accepted at Six Flags, he says.

Come to East Texas, Mr. Henderson!  There's room for you over here.  Meanwhile, our pre-approved Santa is still hanging out at Lufkin Mall for another few days.
