Rest easy, Osbourne fans: it appears that the latest round of marital drama between Ozzy and Sharon will have a happy ending.

Speaking with ABC News regarding his new history-themed travel show with son Jack, Ozzy & Jack's World Detour, Osbourne called the couple's recent separation a "bump in the road" and said their marriage was "back on track again," adding, "Some days you just drift apart for a while, but you get back on the horse. ... You make mistakes, and you learn by your mistakes, I think."

The subject later came up during an episode of The Talk, where Sharon serves as a co-host, and she more or less confirmed Ozzy's version of events — although she didn't appreciate being mentioned in the same breath as a horse.

"'Get back on the horse,' how dare you? He's such a romantic fool. So romantic, 'Back on,'" she retorted. "It's been very hard. I shouldn't speak for him, but I know he wants to come on the show anyway and talk for himself to you all. He does. And I'm fine with that. He feels that he owes everybody here an apology, because he's put us all through it."

Describing Ozzy's "shame and embarrassment" over his behavior leading up to their split, she suggested that the couple's long history together would carry them through their troubles — even if it sounds like Ozzy should brace himself for an uphill climb.

"I can't speak for him, but for me? Yes, I forgive," concluded Sharon. "It's gonna take a long time to trust, but, we've been together 36 years, 34 of marriage, and it's more than half of my life. And I just can't think of my life without him. Even though he is a dog. He's a dirty dog. So there we are. He's gonna pay for it, though, big time."
