“Spirit of ’45 Day” in Nacogdoches on Tuesday, August 14 [VIDEO]

With a blink of an eye, the "Spirit of '45" celebration is having its third birthday, and YOU are welcome at the festivities.

The public is invited to Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors on Tuesday, August 14, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (5400 North Street in Nacogdoches), as a tribute to those of the World War II generation.

Vehicles and memorabilia from the decade will take you back to the 1940's.  Come dress in vintage attire and enjoy root beer floats and lemonade.

Entertainment include Ken Woods, Ab Abernathy & Tom Null, Kathy McGough and the Civil Air Patrol, Sarah McMillan, Act5, and the Heart of the Pines singers.
