Soundgarden Album Pushed to Fall 2012 Release

Soundgarden fans will have to wait a little bit longer for the band’s first album since 1996. The “reunion” album had a spring release date loosely attached to it, and singer Chris Cornell made the press rounds saying so. Now, Cornell has revealed the new album, the band’s first since ‘Down on the Upside,’ has been bumped to fall of this year. We’ve been waiting long enough — what’s a few more months? Patience, young Skywalker, right?
