After all the upsets the last couple Saturdays, this looks to be a calmer week with just one game between ranked teams. But that doesn’t mean this weekend won’t have its own share of excitement. Here are the big storylines going into this weekend in college football.

Now the fun begins. With September's slate of sad non-conference games behind us, now we get to the good stuff with a full schedule of conference match ups and several games between ranked teams. Here are some of the big questions this week in college football.

A Texas A&M student coach is in hot water after taking some cheap shots at West Virgina University players yesterday. Michael Richardson was on the Aggie team until an injury killed his career in 2012. This didn't stop him from being “the 12th man” for the Aggies yesterday.

In sports lore, Tyler born Johnny "football" Manziel is not only famous for being the starting quarterback of Texas A&M, and for winning the prestigious Heisman Trophy as a freshman, but for his notable escapades off the field as well.

It's the off-season for NCAA football - you know, that minute of time between National Signing Day and Spring Training - whereby the NCAA rules committee comes together for their annual meeting of the minds to determine if any changes to the existing rules should be made. With all of the media reports concerning player safety in mind, the committee has released 10 proposed changes for the 2013-14

The day that all college football fans have been waiting for is here: the BCS National Championship between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Did anyone besides myself happen to watch Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma on Saturday?  You read that right.  Didn't see but one team participating in what was supposed to be  -   a game. The score was so lopsided at halftime (36-2), I ended up watching half a "High Chaparral" rerun on INSP; a channel that I wasn't aware was part of my everyday viewing.
