Another NFL Draft is behind us, and today will be one of those days at work where perhaps the biggest football fans spend a little water cooler time breaking down the hits and misses.

It's fun to rip to shreds the hopes and dreams of the newest NFL players, by labeling them "bust" right from the start isn't it? I kid! But Dallas Cowboy fans especially, seem to heartily enjoy picking apart the work of Jerry Jones and company after NFL drafts.

New Map of Football Fans Shows the Dallas Cowboys Really Are America's Team

Ahead of Sunday's big football game, New York University PhD candidate, Sean Taylor, has published a new map based on Facebook figures that show a surprising social and geographical breakdown of NFL fans. The map is color-coded to show which states love which teams.

Not so surprising, is the fact that Texas is predominantly blue and loves its Cowboys. There is a pocket of red around Houston though, that lives and breathes Texans. I've got a lot of friends who love the Texans, how about you? They're just outnumbered by Cowboy fans according to the new research.

Houston Texans' Playoff Game is Finalized

If you're a football fan, you know that the Houston Texans had a shot at the #1 seed in the playoffs, which would have given them a week off to rest and await their next opponent. But they lost to the Colts yesterday, and the cards fell in a way that drops them to the #3 seed, meaning they have to play this weekend.

And oh, those Cowboys...what happened this season. Cowboy fans are in a funk today, and taking back all the bragging they did this season on Facebook. The 'Boys are out of the playoffs after losing to the Redskins on Sunday night.

Reports Say Jerry Jones Locked Out of Locker Room

Wives sometimes complain that husbands sink into a terrible funk after a Dallas Cowboys loss. They don’t talk much, they’re grumpy, they snap and get sassy when asked a simple question…. Goodness. The Cowboys lose and it can take a family a day or two to get back to normal. May be a week, until the ‘Boys can get on the field and win again.

Did you hear Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was locked out of the locker room after the loss in Atlanta Sunday night? The word is he didn’t take the loss well. He was seen banging on the door, but he couldn’t get in. Oh dear. Would you have the nerve to lock out the boss?
