When Heart take the stage for their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame tonight (April 18), it will be the first time the band's original lineup have performed together since Roger Fisher left after his personal relationship with Nancy Wilson ended in 1979.
Newly-selected Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Heart will join forces with Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience for a 2013 summer tour that will feature them together onstage for a 30-minute Led Zeppelin tribute to close out each show.
We are pleased to bring you the world premiere of 'Fanatic,' the new video from Heart and the title track from their upcoming and highly anticipated 14th studio album, which arrives Oct. 2.
Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart cover a lot of ground in their new memoir ‘Kicking & Dreaming,’ which hits stores on Sept. 18. In the book, Nancy talks about moving past the end of her longtime marriage to film director Cameron Crowe , while Ann reveals that she’s been sober now for nearly three years.
There may not be something "Strange" about Heart's new box set CD, but "Euphoric" - indeed!
Taking fans back through the evolutionary cycle that is pure Heart, "Strange Euphoria", the climatic discharge of Ann & Nancy Wilson's tribute to some of their best classic rock of four decades, is exceptionally highlighted in what is hopefully not the end of the road for this flame throwing sister act.
They spent most of the ’90s and early aughts recording sporadically as Heart, but Ann and Nancy Wilson appear to be making up for lost time: 2012 will bring plenty of live dates, a new box set, a memoir of their time in the rock ‘n’ roll trenches, and — most exciting of all for longtime fans — an album of new material.
Two years ago, Alice in Chains emerged from a 14-year hiatus — and the death of original vocalist Layne Staley — with ‘Black Gives Way to Blue.’ The band is already assembling its next album — and according to Heart vocalist Ann Wilson, they’re playing at the top of their game.
“I saw those guys just yesterday,” Wilson said in a recent interview with Ultimate Classic Rock. “I went over to visit them in the studio where they were working on some new stuff — they sound amazing! How can Jerry not sound amazing, but I mean, it really does — they’re a monster.”
So....we won't be seeing Def Leppard in Texas this week.
Because of the death of singer Joe Elliott's father, the tour is having to do some major rescheduling. We thought the Texas shows would be unaffected, but nope! Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio have all been rescheduled.
Check out the new dates here.
