They were among the bands that ruled the Los Angeles hair-metal scene in the 1980s. And on Aug. 29, they’ll join forces on the legendary Sunset Strip to honor one of their own.

Quiet Riot, Great White, LA Guns, Enuff Z’Nuff and Slammin’ Gladys are the featured acts for the free, all-ages tribute concert in memory of late Warrant singer Jani Lane at the Key Club in West Hollywood.

It’s a sad day for Warrant fans. Former Warrant frontman Jani Lane was found dead Thursday evening at a Los Angeles hotel, according to TMZ.com.
