Rockers will join forces for U.S. trek this summer.

The run celebrates 40th anniversary of 'Working Class Dog.'

His voice was sometimes described as the stern Southern preacher, dirt farmer, and depleted Confederate soldier.  Best known for his music with 'The Band', Levon Helm was also an accomplished actor, whom may you remember as playing the role of Sissy Spacek's father, in the 1980 film "Coal Miner's Daughter".  Levon Helm succumbed to cancer today.  He was 71 years old.
