According to a letter to Walmart associates from Doug McMillon, CEO of Walmart, they are discontinuing the sales of handgun ammunition in their stores.

The next thing we know we've spent fifty bucks or more planning for trick-or-treaters, and let's be honest, because we want to hold back a stash for ourselves. It happens. Save yourself some stress, and shop these stores for the lowest Halloween candy prices.
