It's hard to fathom East Texas autumn nights in East Texas without the glow of those Friday night lights. For one South Texas district, this is a reality.

So, that brings us to the local front...what will our very own Stephen F. Austin State University be doing for their fall football season?

Sure, it'll be strange - and probably "somewhat" quieter - with fans wearing masks, but hopefully they'll still be able to go to the game and enjoy it.

Due to COVID-19 concerns, Angelina College made the announcement today that all sports will be suspended until Fall 2021

This morning - June 1st, as promised - they released this video on the SFA Athletics Facebook page.

Before all of this, we never thought twice about a quarterback licking his fingers as he's about ready to snap the ball, but seeing it now might cause us to worry about his immune system. In fact, sports may change in a lot of strange ways.

Whenever I find out that some of the categories or answers on Jeopardy! have to do with East Texas, I become intrigued. That's what happened last night.
