Apparently we haven't lived until we've tried the Houston Astros' Chicken Waffle Cone or the Texas Rangers' famous 2-foot-long hot dog. And now there's a festival that's showcasing the wild concessions from all 30 Major League Baseball stadiums. Pack the treadmill!

Spring baseball and softball practices are underway and the games will start soon for kids across East Texas. For many parents like me that means lots of equipment shopping, meals on the go because practices always seem to be at dinner time, and usually a really bad case of bleacher butt. But it's so much fun. There are at least 5 reasons why little league is awesome, and I bet you can add to the list.

Super Bowl Champ Nick Foles went to high school at Westlake High School in Austin, and has plans to give back to students there with a new career once this NFL thing fizzles out. The career direction may surprise you.

We've got some good ones in Texas.  The Mesquite Skeeters. The Texas City Stingarees. Texas schools have some awesome school pride, and this is your chance to show some love for your high school or college mascot.

The SFA Lumberjacks have four straight Southland Conference titles, three straight NCAA Tournament appearances, and two appearances into the 3rd round of that same tournament.  Those kinds of numbers have gotten Nacogdoches noticed on a national scale.

Texas A&M has a big game coming up on national television tonight. While it's great to be in the spotlight, with the TV time outs and regular time outs, are the games too long? Some basketball games might get a whole lot shorter.

The SFA Ladyjack and Lumberjack basketball teams are ready for the annual Cram the Coliseum event when they take on the A&M Corpus Christi Islanders this Saturday, Feb. 13. The women's game begins at 3:30 p.m., and the men's game will start at 6 p.m. in the William R. Johnson Coliseum.

NFL Training Camps are just barely getting underway, and there's no shortage of early Super Bowl predictions.  At least one analyst is picking the Cowboys to make it all the way this season.  Oh boy.  Whaddya think?
