Reports have recently came out of Hollywood, from family members, that Classic Television actress Bonnie Franklin has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Franklin, who is 68, starred in the long running sitcom "One Day at a Time", which ran on CBS from 1975 to 1984.

A gas station attendant from Mayberry decides to join the Marines, and his good pal Andy Taylor decides to accompany him to boot camp on his first day of enlistment.

That was from an Andy Griffith Show episode that was actually the "pilot" for Gomer Pyle, U.S. M. C., debuting in May of 1964.

“Beverly Hills Cop” Returning as Television Series? [VIDEO]

Eddie Murphy is about to do to "Beverly Hills Cop", what "Flounder" did for "Animal House" 33 years ago.  "Delta House" wasn't pretty then, and reviving "Cop" for the small screen is simply unnecessary.

I would like to believe that going hand in hand with classic rock is classic television.  The two really are inseparable when it comes comparing great programming to over-the-top musical artistry.
