Texas is so dry this summer that we can't even make humidity jokes.

On Wednesday, July 26, 2023 they responded to 13 new requests that burned over 800 acres across Texas.

Nothing wrecks a recycling stream faster than a dirty diaper. Or rotten food. Contaminants are threatening to ruin recycling programs across the country, including right here in East Texas.

Lufkin offers glass recycling now.  But if statistics are any indication, guys probably aren't going to do it, because being green undermines their ability to feel macho.  Really?  Does going green make you feel like a wimp?
