U2′s Adam Clayton Seeking Millions in Misappropriated Funds Lawsuit

From early 2005 to late 2009, U2 grossed boatloads of money from their Vertigo Tour and every-bit-as-massive 360 Degree Tour.

At the same time, bassist Adam Clayton claims he was losing big bucks, too. Clayton says his personal assistant back then misappropriated $7.5 million of his hard-earned money, and now Clayton is suing all of the parties believed to be involved.

Schools Get a Big Check from U2

U2 is planning to donate five million euros -- the equivalent of around $7.2 million -- through 2015 to schools in Ireland.

The money will help fund music education programs in Irish schools, according to Rolling Stone.

Adam Bevell is a huge U2 fan. He's been to a dozen of the Irish band's concerts, and danced with his wife to U2 favorite 'All I Want Is You' during their wedding.

The 32-year old father of four is also blind. At the U2 concert in Nashville, Tennessee he attended last Saturday he held up a sign advertising his services as a "blind guitar player."

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band lost iconic saxophonist Clarence Clemons on Saturday to complications of a stroke he suffered a week earlier.

Lots of bands are coming out with tributes to Clarence, and all that he meant to music.
