It's not just a guy thing....many women are on board with the bracketology at the office, and some bosses even say it's cool with them! One in five bosses say March Madness boosts office morale, and seventy-five percent of bosses in a recent survey say the NCAA tournament doesn't impact productivity. Cool! We've pulled the wool over their eyes.

Here's why the reverse may happen. We've just learned that hot pants can burn calories! Those skin-tight pants that vary in length from about calf-length on the south side, to covering "just enough" up north, can actually help a woman burn calories at work.

Here's the deal.

What’s your family tradition on Thanksgiving Day?

For many of us, Thanksgiving means getting up early to put the turkey in, smelling the aroma of baking turkey and coffee-brewing while watching parades all morning, then expecting family to arrive promptly at 11am. The rest of the day is all about grazing over piles of turkey and green casserole and putting black olives on our fingertips to make puppets, and then watching the Cowboys on TV. That’s what my family does and I thought perhaps you could relate.

Will you be asked to work on Thanksgiving Day? Heaven forbid! But more and more bosses are expecting it!

Coffee is part of life for many of us.

Before making the big decision about whether or not to become pregnant, I asked my doctor if I could still consume my daily 2.5 cups of coffee during pregnancy. It’s a must. If I have a sip less than that, I can feel it. And I knew I may not survive pregnancy if I had to ween myself off, or worse yet, quit cold turkey.

If I could drink coffee while pregnant, then ok, I’d do more forward with the baby-havin’. If coffee was off limits during pregnancy, then that would just be a life change too huge to handle. Must have coffee!

We grew up having our summers free, out of school. Why can't that yearly sabbatical continue into adulthood?

Could you imagine having the summers off? We'd be at Lake Sam Rayburn every day sunning ourselves, not thinking about conference calls and work meetings and deadlines. We could go the the movies whenever we wanted, and go out to lunch and down a margarita with the quesadillas if we wanted to. You can see I've put some thought into this.

Some offices do relax a bit during the summer. My spouse's office hours end at 3:00pm four days out of the week during the summer. What summer benefit would you most like to see?
