It almost looks as if the Austin Street project has come to a screeching halt, in mid-construction. I drove by today, and this is what I saw:

But don't just list these on your resume if they're not true for you. Work on growing in these areas. If they are true for you, be prepared to discuss.

Now, I will say this: I'm a fan of my job. It's pretty great. However, I've seen a lot of jobs that I WOULD NOT like to have. Enjoy.

According to a Facebook post from the City of Nacogdoches, the intersection of Austin and Raguet Street should be open by Monday, August 26th.

In addition to checking email every six minutes and switching back and forth among thirty applications, we do this one thing 134 times every day at work without even thinking about it. This right-click maneuver is so routine, we really could do it in our sleep.

If you feel like you're constantly on the go with very little downtime, you must be a Texan. When it's broken down state-by-state, Texas is in the top ten for hours worked. And we're not very good at vacationing.

First of all, thank you for listening at work. You know I love you and consider you to be a fantastic co-worker and it's with your well-being in mind that I say what I'm about to say. If your job requires you to sit, it could kill you. This is a lil scary!

First of all, congrats to all of you at SFA and Angelina College who are about to graduate. We know how much work went into getting that degree, and we'll be high fiving you on May 12th when you get your diplomas. If you're getting a degree in one of these areas, you can make big bucks right away.

Walmart is testing out a new dress code in 100 stores, and that could mean changes for East Texas employees. Like capris and skorts!

I'm all for packing a lunch to save time and money at work, but on the upcoming holiday that encourages all of us to brown bag it, there is one huge reason why we should totally rebel and grab food from a restaurant instead.

We've all done it at some point. We've had to give our excuse as to why we were late to work, or why we missed work altogether. If you've never had to give an excuse, apparently you haven't been employed there long enough. There's always the simple ones...
