Like father, like son? Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins is keeping it in the family, recently inviting his 11-year-old son, Oliver Shane Hawkins, to play drums with his Chevy Metal covers band at a benefit show over the weekend.

The Hawkins duo were joined by occasional Chevy Metal guest Dave Grohl as they performed a cover of the Rolling Stones' "Miss You." As seen in the Instagram post below, young Oliver kept the beat on drums while dear old dad handled the vocals for the song. The show was a benefit for the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.

Hawkins isn't the only Foo offspring with some musical talent. Both of Dave Grohl's daughters have performed with their proud papa at previous gigs. Back in June of 2017, Grohl's then 8-year-old daughter Harper took a turn behind the drum kit at the Secret Solstice Festival in Reykjavik performing Queen's "We Will Rock You."

Meanwhile, at a benefit in Oakland back in May of this year, Grohl's daughter Violet joined Dave on a performance of Adele's "When We Were Young," while Harper eventually joined them during a performance of "The Sky Is a Neighborhood."
