When it comes to speaking his mind, Rock God Ted Nugent isn't shy about holding his tongue, and while Ted could care less, his staunch beliefs have sent off firestorms in Washington, D.C.

For a lack of better words, in  some political 'clicks', Nugent is considered a loudmouth of sorts, but while not the most eloquent speaker, some of what he believes in, actually  makes sense.

Leave it to Ted to turn a helicopter into a firing range in order to eradicate feral hogs.  455 of them to be exact!  In a single day, mind you!  Now, that's got to be some sort of record!

Here's what he said on a radio interview hosted by Brett Winterble:

“I took my machine gun in the helicopter — in the Texas hill country – me and my buddy ‘Pigman’ … his name is ‘Pigman’ – I’m the swine czar. I killed 455 hogs with my machine gun. I did it for Bill Maher and all those other animal rights freaks out there.”

By the way, Ted's gratification does not stem from the "thrill of the kill", but rather, saving the environment (so it was reported).  Hard to ignore the Bill Maher reference though.  It was also suggested Nugent distributed the pig meat to homeless shelters.
