Ted Nugent is getting set to hit the road again. Today (March 11), he revealed the first dates on what he's calling the 'Sonic Baptizm' tour.

Nugent will kick off on July 1 at the Celebrity Theater in Phoenix, Ariz., followed by five more shows on the West Coast over the next eight days. More concerts will be announced at a later date, but for now, there are only three others – Albert Lea, Minn., on Aug. 5, Pikeville, Ky., on Aug. 19 and Fremont, Ohio on Aug. 27 – confirmed as of now. The schedule can be found below.

The dates and times for when tickets go on sale vary based on the venue, so check Nugent's website for complete information. Nugent is offering a DangerZone package which, in addition to the ticket, gets you a VIP laminate, and 8x10 photo of Nugent that he will autograph and a pre-show meet-and-greet where you can have your picture taken with him.

Ted Nugent last toured in 2014 behind the release of his most recent album, Shutup&Jam. Those dates were marked by controversy, as two venues canceled his shows upon receiving complaints from people calling him a racist. Nugent vehemently denied the charges and blamed the cancellations on "sick, sick, stoned, hygiene-challenged Michael Moore fans [who] call all the promoters, they call all the venues, they call all my sponsors, every day."
