The Texas Parks & Wildlife Department released this footage of a wildfire consuming the 6,000-acre Bastrop State Park, where, as of Tuesday, all but 100 acres have been blackened while firefighters battle to save a number of historic Civilian Conservation Corps cabins.

Over 3.5 million acres, an area larger than the entire state of Connecticut, have been scorched since December.
